Join Us – Memorial Lap for CASH OWINGS

Over the winter our community lost a local friend and racer, Cash Owings. Cash raced with us in both of our series and really enjoyed US Sprint Enduro. Personally, I have fond memories of him coming up to the registration trailer checking in – always smiling and excited to be at the track with his buddies. In 2021, our inaugural season, Cash raced with us in the 85 SR Class. Cash returned in 2023 and 2024 to compete in the C Division. In 2024 Cash finished 3rd in the Open C Class Championship. Last year Cash was advanced to the B Class where he competed in the open B class on a Sherco. We know he would love to be at Olde Mill on his bike racing with his friends – I like to imagine he’ll be watching as we take a lap in his memory on the Olde Mill Grass Track.

🙏Cash’s Father will lead the lap on Cash’s bike. We plan to start this event upon the conclusion of racing Saturday, April 11th (4:30pm)

Some people have asked about donating to the family, while donations are not required – 100% of any donations will be given to the Pleasant Valley Fire Company Juniors Program. Cash was part of that program since he was 10 years old as he had hoped to become a career firefighter. There will be a donation collection box at registration. Please keep in mind this Memorial Lap is not a race – be respectful.

Any riders under 18 years of age will need to have the youth waiver below completed and signed by both parents or legal guardian.

This Memorial Lap will take place during our scheduled race weekend. All normal event policies, including gate admission and waivers, apply. Helmets must be worn.
