Hephzibah, Georgia – Rain on each day of the event was not kind to the Youth riders at
this year’s MacDaddy US Sprint Enduro in Hephzibah, Georgia. Big adjustments had to
be made to the cross test to accommodate the smaller wheels and smaller riders. All
who entered are true dirt riders at heart and should be commended. There is no doubt that our youngest riders tend to get the most extreme weather conditions. Rest assured the adverse conditions are making these young athletes more seasoned and will give them more tools in their toolbox to pull from in the future!
In the Youth divisions, fastest times were set by Lucas Skelton in the Super Mini Sr
class in the cross test. Meanwhile, Nash Peerson had the fastest time in the enduro test
for the Super Mini SR class. Earning them both an FMF Fastest Tests Award!
Super Mini Sr (14-15) winner after 12 test was Nash Peerson (KTM) followed by Ryder Reick (GasGas) and Another GasGas rider, Logan Shafer, was third, while Seth Sherry (Hsq) and Lucas Skelton (KTM) rounded out the top five.
Brooks Buly (KTM) won the Super Mini Jr (12-13) class ahead of GasGas riders Maddox
Hudnall and Nolan Hudson. Hunter McCafferty (Yam) and Caleb Johnson (KTM)
finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
Maddix Wiggins took first ahead of fellow GasGas rider Rylan Roberts in the 85 Sr (12-
15) class, while Donnie Ryan (KTM), Tyler McLaughlin (GG), and Devon Nadeau (KTM)
were third, fourth and fifth.
Mason Ramsey (KTM) won the 85 Jr (7-11) division, topping Jaxon Black (Kaw) for the
victory. Aubrey Tsakanikas (KTM) skipped the final enduro test but still finished third
ahead of Jax Hightower.
Kenzie Conner (KTM) blitzed to the win in the Girls (10-16) division, followed by Riley Anderson (Hsq) and Kaylee House (KTM). Bella Garcia (KTM), and Natalie Purucker (GG) finished out the top five.
Todd Toland (Hsq) and Matilda Revoyr (GG) were first and second in the 65 SR (10-11)
class, while Maci Ryan (KTM) soldiered on for third.
In the 65 Jr. (7-9) division, Maura Tsakanikas (KTM) took a well-deserved win ahead of
Ryder Bower (Hsq) and Virginia Ramsey (Yam). Wesley Cunningham (Yam) and Lathan
Parkman (KTM) were fourth and fifth, respectively.
Tanner Toland (Cob) finished all 12 tests to win the 50 Sr (7-8) class, topping Knox
Harper (Cob).
In one of the biggest classes of the day, Nathan Zhang (KTM) took the victory ahead of
fellow KTM riders Kace Boyer and Alden Tsakanikas. Colt Boyer (KTM) and Nash Harper
(KTM) finished out the top five.
The US Sprint Enduro Series returns to action on February 1-2 in Laurinburg, North
Carolina at Outback Motorsport Park for round two of the series. Sign up is now OPEN.
