The Sprint Enduro World Championship was the vision of US Sprint Enduro founder, Billy Schlag.

To our knowledge there has never been an event like this – which is essentially a warmup for the biggest international race event in off-road – The International Six Days of Enduro.
The Vision:
To create a three-day special test race event that encourages awareness about the ISDE for youth and amateur racers as well as a quality race experience for ISDE Teams from across the globe to utilize as a real time practice and setup for the upcoming ISDE event. The goal is to have the top ISDE racers competing and pushing each other on that edge – we feel this will no doubt raise the bar for competition and truly play a positive part in preparations for the big show. How amazing would it be for Countries to be able to send their teams in advance to compete against the actual racers that they will be racing against at the ISDE and truly see where they rank or what they may need to work on.
For our youth riders – exposure to the format of Sprint Enduro aka Special Test Racing and the International Six Days of Enduro gives them a look at what could be in their future – seeing firsthand ISDE Trophy and Club Team members sharing the same course as them and having the opportunity to speak with the professionals as well as learn from them by simply observing them on the track – pits – work areas. This is also where our workshop plays such an important role. Open to the public is a unique opportunity – The AMA US ISDE Team Manager, Antti Kallonen will host our “Introduction to ISDE” which sheds light on what it takes to be on the ISDE Team as well as what is involved behind the scenes with volunteers – the unsung heroes of the event and the many challenges and fun stories from years of racing.
As the racers get older and retire, we are blessed to have many that continue to support the current teams as coaches and volunteers which now contribute an immeasurable amount of experience. It’s always fun to get to see these icons in the sport like Taylor Robert and Kailub Russell in the pits!
Additionally, the SEWC includes a Rabaconda Tire Changing Area where riders can learn quick tire-changing techniques, a crucial skill for the ISDE. There will also be a timed Rabaconda Tire Changing Contest!
